London Tech Week generated a lot of health tech interest. TechUK launched healthtechUK with an event at which Hadley Beeman and Matthew Gould outlined their ambitions for NHSX. And the CogX festival of AI and emerging technology included a speech from Nicola Blackwood in which the health minister outlined a tech-enabled future underpinned by a focus on infrastructure, training and take-up.
Away from the event, the Health Service Journal revealed a significant underspend on health IT by national bodies, while part of a London global digital exemplar reached HIMSS 6. And we published our own interview with Baroness Blackwood of North Oxford.
