The long-awaited Topol Review on the impact of technology on the NHS workforce was published. The controversial GP at Hand virtual GP service, which uses Babylon Health technology, was cleared to expand from London to Birmingham. Health and social care secretary Matt Hancock admitted the NHS was stockpiling body bags in case of a no-deal Brexit; but generated bigger headlines by urging the NHS to ditch letters and to use email.
