There were some interesting electronic patient record developments in England, with Bolton NHS Foundation Trust confirming that it will implement Allscripts’ Sunrise Clinical Manager, and neighbouring global digital exemplar Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust saying it will move its Allscripts EPR to Microsoft Azure from next March. Microsoft also agreed a deal with NHS Digital to support otherwise out of date operating system, server and database products.
