It might be July, but winter is coming for the NHS. And a major report has warned that it could be a tough one, if Covid-19, flu and respiratory viruses hit at the same time. The Health and Care Bill has received its second reading. But is becoming increasingly controversial, with MPs asking how it will address health and care challenges, why ministers need new powers, and how the relaxed procurement regime will work.
