The coronavirus death toll continued to rise and the government continued to miss its daily testing target. Controversy continued to swirl around the NHSX contact tracing app; as questions were asked about whether it would even work on mobile operating systems. NHS organisations continued to adopt Covid-19 apps; an increasing number of which are being developed by their own clinicians.
The Highland Marketing advisory board met by video conference for a second time to discuss the health tech response to the crisis. It warned that there is only a short window of opportunity to secure the gains made and make IT part of the NHS “reset.”
