With all eyes on the latest Brexit chaos in Parliament, it was a quiet week in the NHS and health IT. Even so, a wrangle broke out over whether the NHS should abandon its headline targets for A&E and referral to treatment times; which are now missed more often than they are hit. NHS England also published new guidance on sepsis. And health and social care secretary Matt Hancock claimed that the X in NHSX stood for ‘user eXperience’.
